Mae and Lux are expecting puppies ultimo February 2010.
It is not a secret that we expect a great deal of this litter. We only sell puppies to people with interest in working or training the dog because both parents are active working dogs. We are going to keep a puppy from this litter ourselves. You can read more about Lux and Mae beneath. If you are interested in this combination please contact us for further in formations (info@kennelminbedsteven.dk).

Mae is a loving bitch from 2007. She posses a superb character and a great will to work. She is an amazing dog in every way. She is a strong bitch with lots of personality, confidence, charm and style. She is able to move even the most strong headed sheep.

Mae is breed by Dorine Verhoef Snoeck and Ron Snoeck from Holland. Mae’s parents are Nell and Mitch. Nell (Mae’s mother) is breed by W. A. Armstrong in Ireland and is an amazing sheepdog that competes in herding trails all over the world with great success.
Among Nell’s newest results (this is the short version) is that she won the Open Austrian Championships 2009, Dutch National 2008, Dutch Open 2008... and that she came in second at the World Trials 2008 in Llandeilo, Wales – only ½ point from the winner...  Find all about her amazing results here: www.conquestbordercollies.nl.

The first time we saw Nell was in 2006 where she competed in Dutch Open and won. After this meeting we were sure that we wanted a puppy from her.
Mae’s father, Mitch, is breed by R. W. Prosser in Wales. He is related to a lot of top dogs for instance Bobby Dalziel’s Wisp, Dryden Joe and Blwch Taff. Mitch too has a long list of good results in his luggage. Have a look here: www.conquestbordercollies.nl.

Lux is an excellent sheepdog with a natural outrun and lots of power. He is very co-operative and you can always count on him. He has a great will to please.
He works daily in a very bumpy and difficult terrain (Rubjerg) on our own sheep that counts about 100 sheep. He is very reliable and posses a nice and loving temperament.
Actually, he was sold as a puppy but he came back to us again because his previous owner was going through a divorce. We feel very fortunate that he came back and now he is one of Morten’s best sheepdogs.

Lux is offspring of our own Pippi and Tony Ottesen’s Bob (ISDS 269836 - DKK 07429/2006). Bob (Lux’s father) has a lot of top results from both national and international trails. Bob’s mother is Rossi (ISDS 259013) She is breed in North Wales by "Kennel Clever collies". Bob’s grandmother is Tegwen (ISDS 246675) who is breed by Aled Owen, North Wales. Tegwen’s father is Aled Owen’s Bob (ISDS 224454) who won the International Supreme Championship in 2000 and the World Trial 2002 in Bala.
Bob’s father is Serge van der Sweep’s Glen ISDS 244489 who won Continental Championship 2005 in Denmark and who came in third at the World trials 2005 in Tullamore.
